Arrive in Paro and continue by road to Thimphu

-Transfer to your hotel in Thimphu (90 minutes). Check into comforts of your room before going out to explore excitements of Thimphu city.  Visit Tashichhodzong, the national Secretariat after 5PM.

Day 2


Sightseeing in Thimphu

Meal: B/L/D      Accommodation: Punakha

Visit National Post Office, the Painting School, the memorial stupa of the 3rd King Jigme Dorji  Wangchuk  and the world’s tallest sitting Buddha.

Drive to Punakha for o/n (3 hrs.).

Day 3


Sightseeing and return to Paro

Meal: B/L/D      Accommodation: Paro

Visits include Punakha Dzong, sightseeing upstream and Woolakha Nunnery Institute.

Day 4


Excursion to Taktsang

Meal: B/L/D      Accommodation: Paro

An early breakfast, go on a hiking excursion to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest monastery) and Kitchu monastery on the way back.

Return to hotel in the evening.

Day 5

Departure from Paro

Meal: B/X/X

-Drive to Paro International airport is just 15 minutes. Snow Lion will escort you to pass through customs and immigration smoothly.

  2. Singles are required to pay US$40 surcharge per night while an individual in a 2-pax group pay
