DAY 1 :  -Greet you on arrival in Delhi outside the baggage hall area for transfer to your hotel.

-Rest of day at leisure.

DAY 2  :  -In New Delhi, visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi,  Humayun Tomb and Qutub Minar.

-In the evening, overnight journey to Allahabad by train.

DAY 3  :  Allahabad (Kaushambi ) – Varanasi:

-In Allahabad, visit Anand Bhawan, the residence of the first Prime Minister of Independent India, Mr. Jawaher Lal Nehru, the Ashoka

Pillar,  Akshaya Vat, Sangam – the holy junction where three rivers Ganga, Jamuna & Saraswati meets, Kaushambi  where Lord Buddha

visited in the 6th and 9th year after attaining enlightenment, ruins of Ashoka Pillar, an old fort and the Ghositaram Monastery, besidesseeing huge number of sculptures and figurines, cast coins and terracotta, objects.

- Proceed to Varanas for o/n.

DAY 4  : Varanasi (Sarnath):

-Drive to Daswamedh Ghat. Take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation Ghat, Banaras Hindu University, Sarnath

where the Buddha preached his first sermon is home to perhaps the most interesting landmark on India's religious and historical

landscape; Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar, Sarnath Museum.
DAY 5  : Varanasi – Bodhgaya:

-Visit Bharat Mata Temple dedicated to Mother India and proceed to Bodhgaya.

DAY 6  : Bodhgaya :

-Bodhgaya – most sacred place for Buddhists where Gautama the Buddha attained enlightenment some 2500 years back, Mahabodhi                 Temple, Animesh Lochan Chaitya,Bodhi Tree, Chankramana, Ratnagarh, Vishnu pad Temple,Barabra Caves.

DAY 7  : Bodhgaya – Rajgir (78 Km)–Nalanda (20 km):

-Proceed to Rajgir a great significance for Buddhists and Janis. Lord Buddha spent 12 years at Rajgir and the first Buddhist council was

held here and Nalanda, a great center of learning in ancient time. Return to Rajgir o/n.

DAY 8  : Rajgir to Kushinagar:

-Kushinagar, a place where Buddha had passed into Parinirvana and therefore is a prominent Buddhist site.

DAY 9  : Kushinagar –Lumbini

-Proceed to Lumbini the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. Lumbini lies in the foothills of the  Himalayas in Nepal.

DAY 10 : Proceed to Kathmandu

Your “LIFE OF BUDDHA” tour end. You can move to Katmandu or you may extend your stay.

Note: -Trips best suited in October, November, December, January, February and March from weather point of view.
