The Nub Tshonapata Trek in the west of Bhutan is a high altitude trek opened to tourists in 2007. Not many tourists have been on that trail and you should be among the lucky ones to explore it. It offers you breath-taking landscapes especially the high altitude Nub Tshona Pata lake with deep turquoise colour associated with endless tales people in valley talk about.  The alpine wilderness thronged with numerous wildlife and birds adds to its charm.


Day 1   :  Arrive in Paro and Acclimatization.
Day 2   :  Drive on a second day to Ha (2 hrs.).
Day 3   :  Trek Kokizu to Tshokom (3 hrs.).
Day 4   :  Womji (3-4 hrs.).
Day 5   :  Nub Tshonapata (4 hrs.).
Day 6   :  Halt for sightseeing at Tshonapata.
Day 7   :  Trek Nub Tshonapata to Rego Tsho (4 hrs.).
Day 8   :  Tarila (5 hrs.).
Day 9   :  Bja-ngay-na (3-4 hrs.).
Day 10  : Trek Ba-ngay-na to Ha town - 2 hrs.  Drive over Jewla pass to Paro (2 hrs.).
Day 11  :  Drive to Paro International airport for departure.

Additional US$30 surcharge per pax per night for smaller groups with one to two pax.

Covers 3 meals plus 2 refreshments per day, lodge in hotels on twin-sharing basis for 3 and 4 star hotels, a resourceful licensed guide, all entry fees, local transport in suv cars/coaches, flight reservation and all taxes.

Exclude: Air tickets, visa fee (US$40), expenses on medical emergencies and evacuations, liabilities due to cancellation of flights, roadblock, etc.; personal expenses, or any supplemental costs.
